Description:
The RVFC is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the program. The Director of Coaching
(DOC) will work alongside the Club Administrator and Club Manager in delivering a high quality club
experience to our RVFC players and their families.
Main Expectations of DOC:
Reports to the club President and Board of Directors (BOD). Liaises with the BOD to ensure a
collaborative relationship with the community, high school programs, and other clubs in the area.
Monthly reports are required to the Board of Directors.
Selects a high level coaching staff which represents RVFC on and off the field.
Evaluates, develops, and supports the growth of our current Recreational, Academy and
Classic coaching staff. Ensures compliance of coaches’ certifications and background screenings
when required.
Manages the coaching budget to ensure the club is fiscally responsible.
Develops the current club curriculum, style of play and methodology.
Creates concepts which will help the club grow, players play, and develop further.
Develops community outreach programs including coach mentoring, skills clinics, and camps.
Manages soccer programs and ensures current and future soccer programs within the club, such as;
Recreational, Academy, and Classic camps and clinics are organized and staffed.
Manages the registration process with our competitive league, currently OPC, and attends scheduled
conference calls.
Promotes and manages the competitive try out process.
Communicates at a high level to all RVFC members, ensuring RVFC is delivering a valued product.
Attends national training events, expos, and webinars when available and continues coaching
education.
Personal Requirements:
USSF C License or higher – applicants working toward C license will be considered
USSF Grassroots certification required
Experience in Education preferred
Background or experience with youth sports
Unwavering commitment to develop soccer players and coaches
Demonstrate professionalism at all times
Able to work independently
Must be available to travel when necessary and work evenings and weekends
Valid documentation to work in the United States of America upon hire
