RVFC Select players compete for a roster spot on either RVFC Select Red or Blue teams in their appropriate age groups.

2017-2018 RVFC Secondary Tryouts will be held in August. Please follow us on social media and email in order to receive the most up to date information regarding these dates.

All players need to bring:
$55.00 deposit/first payment (no player will be allowed to tryout unless payment is made)

General Information:

U11- U14 (ages 10-13):
  • Season will run August-May (with winter break).
  • Most teams play 3 tournaments in the fall.
  • Most teams play 3 tournaments in the spring.
  • League Games



U15-U19 (ages 14-18):

  • Season will run August-January.
  • 1-3 tournaments (Select Blue teams participate in more regular tournaments than Select Red)
  • 3 College Showcase Tournaments (for Select Red College Showcase level teams)
  • League Games


Payment Options:
We offer a single pay or monthly pay plan.  Players NOT current on payments will be removed from the team roster until current.  We do have a Banner Sponsor Program OR Work To Play Program where credit is earned for service to the club, please ask for details about either.

Players are responsible for purchasing their uniform kit.  This kit can be used as long as the player remains on the team.









Select Tryout FAQ's

  1. What paperwork do I need to bring to tryouts?  All players need the Registration Form,  Zero Tolerance, and Medical Release Forms and their deposit of $55.00.  This is your first month's payment/deposit.  If you are a NEW player, please bring a photo copy of your birth certificate and copy of your insurance cards.  We do not need the original.
  2. If I don't make the team, do I get my deposit back?  Yes, your deposit will be refundable within 10 business days of team selections.
  3. Do I need to attend all 3 tryout dates?  In selecting a roster, one of the factors is commitment to the team.  Plan to attend all 3 days unless you have a valid excuse and have been granted permission by the coach/manager.  If you are out of town, you need to request an individual tryout with the team.  Please make your request PRIOR to the published tryouts.   If the roster is full, you might be placed on a wait list until a spot becomes available.
  4. Can I set up a different payment plan?  Though we prefer the standard plan, special arrangements can be made upon request.  Please remember, if a player is not current, they cannot play in games/events.
  5. We don't have a credit/debit card to do an auto draft, can we still pay in installments?  We do prefer auto drafts, but yes you can be set up on a direct payment plan if necessary.   Payments will be due at the location given or by mail on the 1st of the month, late on the 10th.  Again, if a player is not current, they cannot play in games/events.
  6. Do you have scholarships?  We are a non-profit with limited funding thus we cannot provide scholarships.  We do offer a Banner Sponsor program that allows the player to obtain their own business or individual sponsor.  Please download the form here:  Banner Sponsor
  7. Where do we go for tryouts?  Please go to your assigned field and locate the check in table.  Turn in your documents/deposit.  Please arrive 30 minutes early the first night.  After the first night, no need to check in.
